ABOUT

Okay, here’s the deal.

Bad Idea Social Club is an independent podcast of stories, insights, and creative foolery. Hosted by graphic designer Aaron McCall, with Amber Gray and Joe Matteson, BISC brings honest, unfiltered conversations that get into the messy, brilliant, and relatable sides of creativity and the stories that shape who we are.

We created this space because we wanted the stuff we’re not supposed to see. The shiny stuff is cute, but it’s not the whole story. This is a podcast about people who choose to live a creative life. Some do it quietly for themselves. And some are showing off at the Smithsonian or the Louvre. We talk about the cost, the payoff, and what keeps people in it.

This is a space where honesty mixes with the beautifully unhinged parts of creativity, struggle, joy, mental health, and everything else we don’t usually say out loud. We’re here to talk about how creativity shows up in our lives and the stories that make us who we are as people and creatives.

The rest is just conversation.
