A New Chapter for Bad Idea Social Club

Season 7 launches with full video and a focused direction.

Starting with Season 7, which begins April 14, Bad Idea Social Club is expanding into video. Full episodes will be available on YouTube and Spotify, with Apple Podcasts joining once they officially roll out video, alongside the audio feed. We’ve been building toward this for a while. The conversations deserve a visual space, and we’re ready to take the show into its next phase.

As part of that evolution, the show is moving forward with Aaron McCall and Joe Matteson as hosts. Amber Gray played an important role in shaping the tone and energy of the podcast over the past seasons, and we’re grateful for the mark she left on it. Replacing her would be a nearly impossible task, so we’re not going to. Instead, we’re focusing on what’s in front of us and building the next chapter from there.

The goal remains the same: honest conversations with creative people, grounded in curiosity and real experience. Season 7 is the next step.
